Apple Health, features and purchases

Health data is missing

Confirm the measurement is visible in Apple Health first, then check that ZERYNQA has permission to read that category. Open the source device’s app and let it sync. A connected device does not guarantee every type of measurement. Unlock your iPhone before refreshing ZERYNQA.

Different readings show different sources

Sleep, heart rate, body composition and workouts can come from different compatible apps and devices. Check the source and measurement time, rather than assuming all readings were taken together. ZERYNQA cannot read measurements that a manufacturer does not write to Apple Health.

Premium, billing and restoring purchases

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Use Restore Purchases in ZERYNQA if an existing subscription is not recognised. Manage billing or cancellation through your Apple account settings. The feature guide separates the free core summaries from Premium context and longer history. Available prices are shown in the app before purchase.

Viewing a previous day or night

Open a metric’s history or Browse days and details, then select a date or chart point. Sleep history can open the recorded night; recovery history can open the score breakdown. Dates and history length depend on your recorded data and subscription access.

Sleep totals differ between views

Night detail uses a noon-to-noon window in your current time zone and one available source. Overlapping records are counted once. Other summaries can group records differently. Missing records are not assumed to represent awake time, and some sources do not provide detailed sleep stages.

Fitness for your age

Open Fitness for your age and choose your comparison details. The feature compares a recent VO₂ max reading with published FRIEND treadmill reference values for ages 20–89. A reading from the past 90 days and the required settings are needed. This is a cardio fitness comparison, not a calculation of biological age or overall health.

Recovery and activity guidance · 1.2.9 in testing

Morning Recovery and training context

Some answers describe improvements being tested for version 1.2.9. Check your installed version, as current App Store screens may differ.

Why does Morning Recovery stay fixed during the day?

Recovery is a saved daily assessment based on suitable HRV, resting heart rate and available sleep readings. An early estimate may improve when qualifying morning inputs arrive, but later daytime activity does not continually change it. The score is not a measure of remaining energy or workout fatigue.

Why does the capture time show the afternoon?

The capture time is when ZERYNQA first assembled that day’s complete assessment. If the updated app is first opened in the afternoon, it can still use that morning’s eligible readings. The displayed capture time does not mean the HRV was measured at that moment. Open Why this score to inspect the inputs and sources.

Why does recovery show Data Limited?

A complete sleep-window assessment needs eligible readings and sufficient history from each selected source. Where a current morning resting-heart-rate value is not yet available, the app may label a bounded fallback as estimated. Recorded sleep alone is not proof that all heart inputs are ready. The current overnight window may not accommodate every shift-work sleep pattern.

How are the HRV and resting-heart-rate references selected?

Current readings are compared with earlier readings from the same source and matching time window. The reference uses up to the most recent 14 available matching days within the preceding 30 days, with at least three required. HRV is averaged within the recorded sleep window. Daily resting-heart-rate aggregates are assigned using their start date, which can differ from their later sync time.

What happens if more overnight data arrives later?

Missing inputs can be supplied by a later sync before the first complete assessment is captured. A limited early estimate can be upgraded when qualifying morning heart data becomes available. Once a complete assessment is saved, its readings remain fixed rather than following every newer daytime measurement. The separate sleep screen can still receive updated records. A new local calendar day needs a new eligible assessment.

Why does the app show saved workouts or pause guidance?

If a workout query fails, the app keeps its last successfully loaded workout history and labels it as saved. New Today training guidance and the daily brief pause until a successful read. Unlock your iPhone, confirm the workout is in Apple Health and try syncing again. A failed query is not treated as proof you did no training. A successful query with no readable workouts can clear the list; Apple Health does not distinguish denied read access from an empty readable result.

Adding or changing workout effort

In Workouts, choose Add effort on a session, then select Easy, Moderate or Hard. You can change the rating or choose Clear effort. The rating is optional, stays on your device and is shown separately from Morning Recovery. It does not measure physiological fatigue.

Using the daily plan and wellbeing check-in

Today’s plan combines your optional check-in, selected goals, available readings and recent recorded training to explain general activity suggestions. Open the plan to check in or edit your answers. Symptoms or strong aches can pause suggestions regardless of a high recovery score. Suggestions are not medical assessments or exercise clearance.

Some workouts are excluded from seven-day summaries

The compact seven-day training summaries and daily plan exclude sessions shorter than five minutes or longer than four hours as a quality check. Those records are not deleted from Apple Health and may still appear elsewhere in workout history.

Managing locally saved information

Open the plan’s check-in screen and Privacy & Data to delete saved wellbeing check-ins, delete local live-session history or reset the named fitness preferences. These separate actions ask for confirmation and do not clear all app data or cached health summaries. Clear individual effort ratings through their workout menu. Apple Health records are managed separately. See the Privacy Policy for details.

About health guidance

ZERYNQA provides general fitness and wellbeing information. It is not a medical device. A wearable score cannot confirm that exercise is safe or replace professional medical advice.
